Muhammad (pbuh) under the shelter of grandfather's love-shadow

Muhammad (pbuh) under the shelter of grandfather's love-shadow

After the death of the father, the loving mother remained, after the death of the mother, the old grandfather survived. After his mother's death, the grieving grandfather brought his fatherless son to the Niketan of Prophethood and Risalat in Mecca. As much as Abdul Muttalib felt the pain of the death of his beloved son Abdullah, he felt much more pain in the death of his daughter-in-law Amina. Because, after the death of Abdullah, the support of the child Muhammad (ï·º) was his mother Aminah. But after the death of his mother, he had no other recourse. His sorrow increased a hundredfold. On the other hand, his affection for the orphan child also continued to pour in hundreds of streams. It seemed as if he began to love her more than his unborn child.

Ibn Hisham narrates that a special seat was set up for Abdul Muttalib in the shadow of the Ka'bah. Abdul Muttalib used to sit on this seat and the children would sit on the side of that seat. Out of respect for his father, none of his children used to sit on this seat. But the child Prophet (ï·º) came there and sat in that seat. Seeing this situation, his uncles used to hold his hand and take him down from that seat. But in the presence of Abdul Muttalib, when an attempt was made to remove the child Prophet (ï·º) from that seat, he used to say, 'Don't try to remove him from this seat, let him go. Because God's oath! This child does not seem like a normal child. He is a different kind of child, a unique personality. Then he would make him sit close to him in that seat, caress him with his hands and express his joy by seeing his movements and actions.

When Prophet Muhammad (ï·º) was eight years two months and ten days old, his grandfather Abdul Muttalib died. Uncle Abu Talib came forward to ease the burden of the Prophet (ï·º) at the time of grief. He willingly took upon himself all the responsibilities of bringing up the boy Muhammad (ï·º). Old Abdul Muttalib had bequeathed it to Abu Taleb before his death.
