 Lucky birth (المولـــد):

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was born in Makkah to the famous Banu Hashim clan on the 9th of Rabiul Awal (Year of the Elephant) on the Monday of the day of Raji during Subhey Sadek. According to the English calendar the date was 20th or 22nd April 571 AD. This year was the forty-hundredth year of King Nowsherwa's accession to the throne. This is the correct opinion found by the eminent educationist Muhammad Sulaiman Munsurpuri Sahib (RA).

It was narrated from Ibn Sa'd that the mother of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said when he was born, a light came out of my body that illuminated the buildings of Shamdesh. Imam Ahmad (RA) has mentioned a similar narration by Irbaaz bin Saria.[2] Some notable events at the time of the Prophet's (ﷺ) birth were revealed as foreshadowing of prophethood. The fourteen spiers of Kisaraprasad crumbled, the fire-pits that had been burning for ages in the shrines of the ancient Persian priesthood were extinguished, the sargam churches of the Bahira clergy became dull and dull. This narration is from Imam Bayhaqvi, Tabari and others. [3] But they have no proper basis and no history of the time bears witness to it. Soon after the birth of the child, Aminahah sent the good news of the birth of her son to Abdul Muttalib. As soon as he heard this good news, he went to the Ka'bagrih with a happy heart and took the newborn in his arms. Then, looking at the beautiful child's face with tears of joy, he started thanking God and praying for his overall welfare. In this moment of pure joy, he also decided that the new born would be named Muhammad. It was a novel name among Arabs. He was then circumcised on the seventh day according to the Arab custom.

Abu Lahab's maidservant Suwayba was the first to give milk to the Prophet (ﷺ) after his mother. At that time, the child in her arms was called Masruh. Before the Prophet (ﷺ) Suwaybah gave milk to Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib and later to Abu Salamah bin Abdul Asad Makhumi.
