Geography and Tribes of Arabia

The life of the Prophet (ï·º) actually means the realization of the scattered rays of light that the Messenger of Allah (ï·º) presented to mankind and through which people Delivered from the dark darkness of corruption and established on the path of eternal light and freed from the slavery and chains of man and entered into the slavery of Allah. He even changed the course of history and brought radical changes in the way of life of mankind.

Drawing a complete picture of the pious life of the greatest man and Prophet of all time (ï·º) is not possible until a comparative judgment analysis of the conditions before and after the revelation of the words of Allah. Before proceeding to the actual discussion in this context, the chapter discusses the geographical boundaries of pre-Islamic Arabia, the various tribes living in Arab lands. The state and position of the community and their progress and state management, leadership and classification of tribes of that era need to be presented to the readers along with various religions, communities, customs, superstitions and political, social and economic picture.

That is why I have presented these topics specifically in different layers.

Location of Arab

The word 'Arab' is used to mean 'sandy desert', a gray desert or an area devoid of vines and grasses. Since time immemorial, the term has been used in a specific sense for the Arabian Peninsula and the communities living there.

Arabia is bounded by the Red Sea and the Sinai Peninsula to the west, the Arabian Gulf and a large part of southern Iraq to the east, and the Arabian Sea to the south, which is a large part of the Indian Ocean, to the north by the Empire and parts of northern Iraq. There is some disagreement about the boundaries mentioned. The area of the entire territory is estimated to be between 10 lakh and 13 lakh square miles.

The Arabian Peninsula is of great importance and significance both from the point of view of interior geography and topography. The peninsula is surrounded by a vast desert or horizon wide sandy desert. Due to which this peninsula has become such a fortified fortress that it is very difficult for any foreign power or external enemy to attack, establish rights or influence over it. This is due to the natural causes of the Arabian Peninsula The inhabitants of the middle part have been able to maintain their own distinct character, being entirely independent from that ancient and immemorial time. However, due to its position, this peninsula is the neighbor of two superpowers, which would never have been possible for the Arabs to be free from the influence of these two superpowers if there were no geographical barriers.

Looking at the position of the Arabian Peninsula from the outside world, it will be evident that the country is located at the very center or center of the continents of the old era and is connected to the different countries and continents of the world by both water and land routes. Its north-western border is the gateway to the African continent, its north-eastern border is the gateway to the European continent, and its eastern border is Iran and Central Asia. China is the gateway to far abroad including India. Thus, the waterways coming from different countries and continents of the world through seas and oceans have created excellent links with the Arabian Peninsula. Ships from different countries flock directly to Arab ports. In view of such geographical location and boundaries, the northern and southern borders of the Arabian Peninsula were the target or center of trade, agriculture and exchange of ideas of various communities.
